Here is a convenient list of things you should do that will help us get you noticed. Don’t wait – the sooner you get these items to us, the sooner we can start promoting you!

Gather photos and send them to us. We need a “mug shot” – a photo mostly showing your face, looking straight at the camera. Send us your best 3-4 action shots as well. Important! Make sure they’re high-resolution as we can’t use grainy, low-res photos!

Put together all important statistics. Don’t just highlight the “big” ones like points you’ve scored, strikeouts you’ve recorded, receptions you’ve made or goals you’ve kicked. Coaches want to see the “full” athlete and they need to know about the “little” things you do in competition. Example – if you’re a fantastic player on offense but don’t play very strong defense, that is something important for a coach to know. It can also show you areas where you can improve before you show up at your first practice or tryout!

Make a list of all awards and honors you’ve received, both for athletics and academics. Again, this helps coaches see the “full” person you are. For example, if you do very well in sports and your school has recognized you as a top student, that’s something you definitely want to show off. You’ve earned it. Take those pats on the back.

Fill out the online information form and then submit it to us. This is where you tell people about yourself. It will be the information and statement RecruitingChange use to promote you to coaches and athletic programs.

Gather letters of recommendation or other written recognition. Of course there are people who will say nice things about you. Take advantage of this and let coaches know about it.
